Calvary Mansfield is a living and active church, teaching the Word of God. We offer hope and new life in a world of uncertainty and confusion.

“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” John 10:10

Jesus gives us life eternal. It is through Him that we experience the freedom of His grace. Together, as the church, it is our calling to equip and empower believers to live out our Christian walk in victory, power and purpose.

We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, therefore we teach through it verse by verse. We offer age appropriate Sunday school for children simultaneous to the Sunday morning services. It is our hope that we all come to the full knowledge of the love of Christ and we endeavour to meet each one in their walk with the Lord.

What We Believe

  • We are a Bible believing fellowship, whose doctrine is taken solely from Scripture as interpreted by the Holy Spirit. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is His (agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves to be Christian.

  • We believe worship of God should be spiritual. Therefore, we remain flexible and yielded to the Holy Spirit to direct our worship.

  • We believe worship of God should be inspirational. Therefore, we give great place to music in our worship.

  • We believe worship of God should be intelligent. Therefore, our services are designed with great emphasis on teaching the Word of God that we might receive instruction on how to walk in our Christian faith.

  • We believe worship of God is fruitful. Therefore, we look for His love in our lives as the supreme manifestation that we have truly been worshipping Him.

  • We believe in the inerrancy of Scripture (that it is free from error). Therefore, our ministry emphasises the exposition of God’s Word from Genesis to Revelation, line upon line, precept upon precept (Isaiah 28:10).
